Maybe Baby....
...as I was walking round Weymouth yesterday I spotted these girls out and about and it caught my eye but by the time I had pulled out the camera they were too far away. On my danders today I bumped in to them again and had a chat to them, they are Year 10 students at a local secondary schools and are 14 years old. As part of one of their subjects (Just why have they given bog standard subjects new names - it has totally slipped my mind what subject it was). They had to take these 'babies' home for the weekend. The babies are real life in behaviour, needing to be feed, watered, nappies changed, colic dealt with and can't be left alone or in the care of their parents or others.
It was intesting listening to how they had found the experience so far, with night feeds, lack of sleep and less freedom than they are used to.
And the last question was - would it make them more cautious about having a baby in their teens, well there was a resounding Yes!
I left the big camera at home, too much on including some sailing but here are a few more from Weymouth! Click here
