Before the rain came.....again

We were subject to one of the most amazing thunder and lightening storms I've ever seen last night, and then the rain came. I was so fascinated by the lightening I couldn't tear myself away to find my camera and try to capture it.

The weather cleared for a very short while today and I captured this shot of a cloud reflected in a very large puddle. Then we got soaking wet when the rain came back but thankfully my camera stayed dry.

Nothing else for it but to watch a film and eat a tub of ice cream now. The weather forecast doesn't look promising tomorrow either, oh dear more ice cream and inactivity on the cards. I'll pretend that I don't have a wardrobe full of waterproof clothes.
