Sunshine on a cloudy day

Well, perhaps more a torrential rainy sort of a day. Been a day of exploring and researching alternative heating fuels, watching the rain come down in stair rods, marvel at the stupidity of people parking cars and blocking lane access, sympathising with Tesco delivery driver who, due to stupidity of parked cars, had to trolley up our delivery up the lane in torrential rain.
Then this afternoon, the sun came out briefly only to disappear again until later this evening when it made an appearance during a shower. This created a lovely pale, watery rainbow over the valley and a fantastic sunset over the hills and far away.
