Meet Scott...

This is our Ranch Manager here at Sanborn Western Camps. Today was branding day here for all of the new cattle. Yes it is painful and hurts them, but it is in their best interest so they don't get lost and we can figure out where they are. Now that I have said the part to help people calm down, it is awesome to get to work with a real life cowboy. All year he watches over our heard of cattle, takes care of horses, and just does the standard things cowboys do (except for having duels at high noon).

Today has been a day of differences. first I ran a 5k this morning, the first time I have ran in almost 2 years, then I went and helped with branding cattle, burger break, and now I am about to go climbing and rappelling...today is gorgeous and I am so pumped to be here in ole Colorado!
