Down Barn, West Chaldon: Dorset Barn # 6

I had to climb over two barbed wire fences and wade through waist-high stinging nettles to get to this, as my legs still tingling remind me. I really shouldn't have worn shorts (especially as it started to rain soon after I took this).

My favourite barns are out-of-the-way field barns such as this, which is about a mile from any other building, with a 360 degree commanding view. It is pretty dilapidated and in need of repair. I wonder what its future holds?

I couldn't find a listing reference for it but surely it must be a listed building.
