Acapulco

Back in Acapulco today, and it was bloody hot again. Took a walk through town and then a back along the beach. Now I'm not a big fan of just laying on the beach, but I really do love walking along it with the ocean splashing around my feet. It was a Saturday afternoon, so there was plenty of kids around, and it was great just watching them running around in the sand and sea. Of course, as I'm in Mexico, I had to stop for some Fajita's and a couple of Pacifico's. Rude not to really!!

Well its been a while since I've updated things and i finally managed to backblip, essentially starting here. For those that would like an update, I am currently on the Zuiderdam and left Fort Lauderdale back on the 22nd April and we are on our reposition cruise to Alaska. Had a few nice stops on the way, and we still have Cabo San Lucas on Monday, LA on Wednesday then Vancouver next Saturday. That will be our home port for the Alaska season and we will docking in Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan, as well as sailing through Glacier Bay.

So, now that I'm back on, I aim to try and get back to more consistent blipping. I am a big fan of the new Blip Blog and the many other new features those at Blip Central have been giving us and have been inspired to get back to blipping through the excellent profile of one of my favourite blippers, Scobes. Even to a veteran blipper like me (i think i can call myself that now), it was very inspirational, and reminded me of the very reason why i started this journey in the first place. Thanks mate!!
