Shooting Stars

This is my back yard again and the same storm. It was taken a few minutes past midnight, so it qualifies as a "January 20" picture. By the time the storm was over, 80 cm (over 30 in) of snow had fallen.

It was pitch dark when I took the picture, but once on my computer screen, it looked like hundred of shooting stars.

The storm is over and the forecast calls for sunshine tomorrow... amazing pictures will be taken. Too bad we can only post one per day. I had incredible pictures, also taken last night after midnight, of the berries tree with much more snow on it. But I had to make a choice...
