Mother's Day!

Spence slept until 7.30am this morning which was a lovely Mothers Day present! He came in and had a snuggle with us until Kaz went out for a run! Cheryl stayed last night and this morning we were invited over to a friend, Kevin's, house to have pancakes for breakfast for Mother's Day! Kevin has a daughter, Reggie, who is three, he had some other friends over who have a three year old and a six year old, and also Tarsh, Scott and their two kids came over! We had a lovely time, eating pancakes with ice cream for breakfast and then having a couple of games of croquet! I had never played before but it was great!

We came home, Cheryl left and I went out and organised the wood shed because we had a load of wood coming sometime today. I got the chainsaw out and was cutting up some wood and branches but it started raining so I had to stop!

At work now at a different station for the month. No calls so far. I am really tired so am hoping for a quiet night!

This is a photo of the light fitting above the piano at Kevin's house that is reflected off the top of the piano!!
