Family Day Out

I came across this family of ducks swimming along the River Gaywood in Kings Lynn on my way into work.

I first spotted them a little further away and took some distant shots to try and just get something. They then started to swim away from me and I put the camera away, thinking that was going to be it. But then they turned around and came straight back and spend some time swimming under the bridge I was standing on.

I gratefully started the camera up again and managed to get this shot of the female and two chicks. The male was close by, but I couldn't get a decent shot of them all together.

They eventually swam off and I continued on to work for the rest of the day.
