Dogwood Puddle Pics

Dogwood petals (a tribute to mothers)

Each year with the onset of Spring, the dogwoods blossom along with the blooming of the daffodils, reminding me that we live again yet another year.

The World is now full and alive and green and growing.

Winter is but a past thought, the cold and desolation restricted to the dark recesses of my memory.

I am thinking of Summer, and the Ocean, and the Sun.

I smell the hayfields and the mustiness of the wet forest floor.

The rain is just a drizzle, the wind is not cold, and is but a breeze on my naked legs.

This morning the dogwood blossoms are gone, the dogwood trees transformed into just another branch in the woods.

And the ground is sparkled with the petals of the dogwood blossoms, a last flickering decoration of Life... making me question if we will ever chance to see them again.....
