BLACKBERRY STITCH WOOLLY

More birding today, this time at Leighton Moss. I could have done with a day at home but was assured that we would be home by half past two, easily; so agreed to accompany the birder. It turned out to be a very good day, bird-wise, but we were two hours later home than planned.

There are a pile of plants to be put in the garden, a pile of ironing, and a pile of books, papers, and a week's collected bits and pieces to sort through. Next weekend then......

Met this ewe while leaning on a gate looking for a Jay. I would have liked to release her from her bramble but she was a normal sheep and wouldn't come near, though she did seem happy enough munching her way across the field.
