Bleeding....

the bark on this tree had been scraped off by something - or someone - rather viciously and the red exposed fibres looked red, almost like blood. Farther along there was a young tree snapped in half. I'm thinking vandals. As if the trees in Edinburgh don't have enough to contend with with the council's policy of cutting down everything in sight...
