a long day
the brightest thing in my whole day..
i usually try to take a shot that embodies my emotion for the day. hence some of the darkness lately.
today, though, i am not really sure how this picture came to be. i often return from school to sit at my desk, stare blankly at textbooks and my computer screen as the light of day slowly fades. i hardly realize as my whole room slips into darkness and i find myself illuminated only by my computer screen.
glancing back over my right shoulder i can easily glance out the window and see the sun setting to the west. to give you an idea, this is often the view. in fact, it was again today. the same two birds stood together, just as before.
the view attracted me outside for a breath of fresh air. i wanted to try and find a shot using some natural light as opposed to my frequent turn to late night desperations.
the sun's warm light splashed upon the clouds...just the right shade of gold.
and you already know of my affinity for trees.
"Hey Alex?"
"Yes?"
"You know you linked to yourself a million times, right?"
"Oh. Well, yes i suppose so."
"Okay...Hey Alex?"
"Yes?"
"You know you are talking to yourself right now, don't you?"
"Oh. Well, yes. I suppose I am. What of it?"
"...just get some sleep, Alex. You look awful."
"Thanks for that. Well, i'll try."
