Are you looking at me?

Picture the scene, Thursday evening in the middle of Kenya, sat by Lake Naivasha and contemplating whether I should have a heavy night of Tusker Beer or be sensible and get up early to go for a walk through the Great Rift Valley and spot some creatures.

My mind was made up when the Weekend Blip Challenge e-mail arrived with the weeks theme of 'Stripes' - what else could I photograph other than this chap who was happy to let me get within about 10 feet of him.

Such an amazing experience to be so close to zebra, giraffe, gazelles and the like. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) we only saw footprints of the leopard that were about 2 hours old.
