Noisy and Nervous

Since they are always making such a darn racket to attract your attention you would think that Oystercatchers would just love hanging around to have their photos taken...but apparently not.

A real day of contrasting weather today, torrential downpours causing flash flooding on the roads earlier in the day were replaced by a gloriously sunny evening...just right for a stroll around the Loch at Stirling University.

Edit: Not sure now whether I should have used this shot for my Blip...I hate it when I have more than one choice for a Blip....so difficult to decide on a single shot.
