he is amazing.
perfect. not a wrinkle on his body. a few bumps but i guess that is normal.
he has HUGE feet and l o n g fingers.

as soon as i got there i got to change him. all 7 pounds of him. what a teeny tiny little baby.

he slept a lot during my visit but he did open his eyes a few times.
if i had been in a dark place for the last 9 months i guess i wouldn't want to open my eyes either. even for my aunt.

i am an aunt. that is crazy to me. but wonderful.

i want to visit again.

the trip was wonderful. long and tiring but great.
the boy is perfect. really. amazing.
over 500 miles. lots of tears and some ranting from me and he didn't complain. not even one peep of negativity from him.
in fact - he pulled over so i could cry on his shoulder.
he is a keeper.


it's really great to have someone that makes it seem better when things aren't great.
