A favourite place to visit and walkabout

Mother's Day today. Sunny but a bit cool. Went for a drive to Secord Pond which is a protect forest and wildlife area with the pond, woods, trails, river, and lots of sky. It is on the grounds of the Secord Estate which was a veterinarian's home with a pet cemetery on the grounds. It is located near Stouffville and Uxbridge and is a lovely place. A couple of thousand pets are buried there. It officially closed in the mid-1990s (opened in the 1940s or 50s) but some pets are buried there still on family plots. We have one plot with two cats there.
