This guy is selling guided tours of Salt Spring Island in his Ural side car. The Ural is a pre WWII vintage Russian motor cycle which was, in the '70s, in Europe(where I was living) considered a joke due to its archaic design and poor manufacturing quality.

It is now a a premium $10,000+ exotic. I wonder what has changed? Looks the same to me.
