At the Grub for Dan's leaving do and four youngsters in army fatigues showed up for a beer and caught the Man U-Chelsea match. Norway has mandatory military service of nineteen months for men between the ages of 18 and a half and 44 (55 in case of war). Women aren't drafted unless they sign a declaration of willingness. Reminded me of Redgum's I Was Only 19.
