A bit of everything

Wild weather still - winds, heavy showers, a bit of sun, all very dramatic. The walking bus walked nonetheless albeit a bit damply. The school is having a day out tomorrow, including a picnic and I'm not needed - perfect!

The nets are going up on the fruit cages- a very tricky job as they're too wide for one strip of net so it has to be joined with plastic clips - and it's windy! A lot of the currants have got something nasty on their leaves, green fly I think, but there are masses of blueberries.

Out to some friends for supper tonight, so will catch up later. Today's view is a bit of storminess sweeping down the bay. I liked the random self-seeded yellowness of the rape against the moody blues.

I enjoyed all the cats yesterday too - well done Bethanne :)
