Vienna aftermath

I know it's becoming a bit of a cliché, but I still like to do this sort of shot after each trip away. As I said a year ago, the bits and pieces themselves tend to get thrown out after no time at all, but it's still nice to have the memories here on Blipfoto to refer back to later on.

The numbers on this trip (which I like to describe as 'a musical pilgrimage' rather than a holiday) were very small compared with previous Music Group occasions, but at least we were joined by our friends from Budapest for part of the time, and the four of us who made up the actual travelling group got on well together and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Let's hope the numbers will improve next year. Being considered for 2012 is the idea of going on a multi-centre trip for a change. We combined Dresden and Leipzig in 2006 and that worked out well, but the plan for next year is more ambitious, possibly involving four German cities. We shall see if it works out. It's early days yet, but we have been known to plan the following year's trip as soon as we come back from the current one, so perhaps we'll arrive at a decision in principle at least earlier rather than later. One of the guys (our German member, naturally) has been entrusted with the task of doing some preliminary research.
