St Andrew Undershaft
opposite the Lloyds building and almost next to the Gherkin, St Andrew Undershaft is apparently one of two churches to survive the Great Fire
Nowadays it is used for bible study and is quite often locked, but today it was opened so I had a peer inside
Sadly bible studying means that you can't just wander round.
You might interrupt their study I suppose by the noise you might make looking at the church. It can be very noisy - a good look.
Especially if the stone is a bit rough and your glance scrapes on the surface
So I peered through the glass screen that shields the bible studiers from the common herd
If you want to find out more about the church look here
I deliberately chose an image without the Gherkin - it's just a bit too shouty
