Winds of change

A wind turbine going up at one of the neighbouring farms ... its amazing how these are build so swiftly and how big they are ... check the size of the blades on the transporter ... it's fully built now and I'll blip it again to show what it's like.

Some folks hate them but our bit of Aberdeenshire is effectively industrial farmland and its windswept so putting up some turbines here generates renewable electricity without spoiling any great views while also allowing farming to go on underneath, keeping family farms in business.

Having lived near to a nuclear power station in the past, I know which I prefer to have on my doorstep.
