Epitome of Perfection
So, it was a wonderful Mother's Day, and I took many great photos of my family. We had a lovely brunch at the Lucerne Inn, and had a little photo shoot that provided lots of laughs. Much of the time we're not looking the right way, or our hair is in our eyes, but we are all laughing. Love it :) Anyway, we made our way to Bar Harbor and spent some time on top of Cadillac Mountain and around Acadia National Park. It's a gorgeous area. I was tempted to put up a family photo, but this photo was taken at sunset from the sandbar where "Bar Harbor" gets its name. I love everything about this place--about Acadia, and about the peace of sunset, and about the smell of the ocean. Perfect.
"And I'll forget the world that I knew
But I swear I won't forget you
Oh, if my voice could reach back through the past
I'd whisper in your ear
Oh darling, I wish you were here"
