The Trail of Spit Bugs
This is a sure sign of warmer weather. Whenever you see the white foam, you know spit bugs are here. I think this just looks gross, to be honest. I really haven't ever seen an actual spit bug or spittle bug, it is the nymphs that hide in the foam. Without it I think they dry up and die.
A busy evening gardening. Tomatoes are in the ground and some of the gourds are planted. I went to the gardening center during lunch and purchased several flowers on sale. These intrigue me, they need some TLC, so I feel like I need to rescue them and see if they will grow into showstoppers :).. They were really inexpensive, so I'm not out very much if they just fade away.
