Sock Yarn Stash

Each of these baskets is full of sock yarn. Top to bottom, front to back. But then, you do have to realize that I work at a yarn shop. And, I have a weakness (obviously) for sock yarn. It is so versatile and you can do so much with it--and I do. Now you can see why I came up with my sock yarn afghan to use up my scraps. I have made at least 50 or 60 pairs of socks in the past few years. My record was 21 pairs in 21 weeks. It's what keeps me going. Everyone should experience the joy of a fine pair of handknit socks. Or....50 or 60 fine pairs of hand knit socks!
