Labour camp

I had to visit Al Hamriyah Free Zone on business, on a hot, humid and desolate day. The people unfortunate enough to live behind this fence will live in conditions which are almost certainly worse than a UK prison. There are several to a small room, the hours are long and hard and the pay derisory. To cap it all, most of what little they get paid (around £250/month for most I think) will be sent back to India or the like to support their families. Not everyone in Dubai is living the dream
