HOW much per gallon?

Planned day in the Sheriff Court waiting to get called as a witness was cancelled at the last minute, leaving me to get out and about.

Passed by these old-time fuel pumps, which amazingly are still in operation for supplying a private fleet of agricultural vehicles.

When these were installed was it ever imagined that petrol would be almost £6 a gallon? Doubt it.

Incidentally, had a tennis birthday today: 30-15. Sounds better than the real figure!
