Dead Beetle

I saw this beetle the past 3 days dead on the pavement outside our home, and marvelled at how beautiful and shiny it was. Today I decided to photograph it. The beetle was covered in pollen, so I washed it first . Shame I wasn't able to take a photo while it was still alive. What wonderful colours.
