An Ass Of A Day

I was going to post a picture of the four, yes FOUR, baby blackbirds on the wall in my garden but I've changed my mind.

First, earlier today, I noticed that a new charity shop had opened up in Burgess Hill (where I work). It's called Safe Haven for Donkeys in the Holy Land.

Secondly, upon returning home I found this homeless donkey at the end of my street, with a take-out coffee and a balloon from a nearby cafe. Yes, Eey-ore, like many who fall on hard times, seams to think Brighton is the answer.

So it's Donkey Day today. The baby blackbirds can wait for another day.
