Sunshine after the rain

All the flowers in the garden were glad of the rain. and the birds, at last the bird baths were full. With a garden full of fledgling sparrows that can only be a good thing.

The poppies looked best with their drops of rain, but I blipped them before so I settled for a rose, almost hidden in it's own fresh green foliage.

Then to work, still plenty to do to get the drug store balanced after the move into our new hospital.

Lunchtime we walked down to Wakefield via our new shopping precinct 'Trinity Walk' with it's massive Sainsbury's and Debenhams. I need the Watch Hospital to get batteries in two watches which had been stopped for too long so we pass on through.

Both shopping areas seem to be full of people. Crisis what crisis?

Job done and a brisk walk back to work. Looking for ways to cut our drug bill.

The rain returned for the walk home and, guess what? My umbrella wouldn't stay up. Somehow the keepy-uppy thing is broken.
