snake alert

Went for a walk in Pollok Park with my god-daughter and friend this morning- both vets so regaled with lots of gory stories.

This snake bark tree is great, in addition some wag has carved a snake from one of the branches.

Gardens looking lovely, they sure do put in a lot of effort to keep them looking good and at this time of year the Rhododendrons are spectacular.

From here to Oran Mor to the Play, Pie and a Pint series to see a 45 minute one hander about John Muir.

Very enjoyable and the music was rerr.

Shame we don't make more of John Muir. In California it seerms everyone knows about him venerates him for the wilderness pioneer he was.
Walking on the John muir trail in Yosemite has got to be one of my all time favourite things to do, in such a beauttiful place it blows your mind.

What a gift to be able to enjoy such outdoor majesty.
