When did breakfast turn into chocolate balls?

I never used to buy them anything with chocolate in it for breakfast, they only got coco pops when we went on holiday. Just about every cereal now comes in a chocolate variety and I have given up the battle of chocolate cereal. What a wimp! I just have to resort to my "when I was young" speeches as I eat my porridge.
