Chasing damselflies in nettle beds

Note to self: don't go chasing damselflies through nettle beds in a skirt again! -Tomorrow, must find trousers!

Another windy day so taking pictures of small things was tricky. The light was very changeable too - my flash started going off at one point when it got very dark. Luckily the rain held off and the afternoon got very warm.

There were lots of beautiful demoiselles, banded demoiselles and large red damselflies around in one damp area of my daily walk. The nettles were high and very vicious! Of course, the damsels were settling just out of reach in the densest areas of nettles.....

Had to move out of our office tonight for a day in the conference room tomorrow while they install more electrical sockets in our little room. Apparently, extension leads off extension leads off extension leads are not a good idea!

School association meeting tonight so I now have to update the website, produce a newsletter and find stuff to sell on Saturday for our next second hand sale.
