Non Angry Birds

The girls and I were very excited to put up the bird table on the decking, we've filled it with lots of nice goodies and hoped to tempt a couple of the birds from the bushes.

We did it! I had blamed a huge Magpie for eating all the mealworms that Evie has been putting out every day - but tonight we spotted lots of little birds enjoying the worms and dried nuts.

We had birds queuing up on the wall waiting for their turn! We were all so pleased! And when the birds settle down the bats come out!

Fantastic - just makes our little house more like home for us (and gives me something beautiful to watch when I am doing the washing up!)
