Given my ridulously high percentage for mentioning Scobes, I'm not going to. I'm going to dedicate this blip to Just Sitting who enjoys Cake Season.

After a lovely day out yesterday, it was back to the reality of work today. The tedium of that was reduced by my decision to leave early and go to a bathroom shop. Never would I have thought I'd opt for looking at basins as a preferred choice of activity. Must get out more.

Tonight's match involved a thrashing by a rival - and admittedly strong - team. Our misery was appeased by the tennis tea and these beauties, adapted from this recipe. The last three Cakes of the Week have been baked by the same person. She will be rewarded.
