Summer Storm Season
has begun, and the trees don't even have leaves yet. This should accelerate the trees leafing out. Leaving the apartment this afternoon, I was shocked at the intense heat and humidity. I drove up to Elm Creek Park for a daily blip, and thunderheads were developing in the West. Now two hours later, the tornado sirens are going - confirmed tornado in the southwest metro and baseball-sized hail. Stupid me - I took some photos of the supercell as it passed my apartment (photo here) - I have uploaded some to my Blipfolio which show a suspicious-looking cloud, perhaps a funnel.
