Yellow Headed Blackbird

This little guy lives out at the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge. He is usually too far from the road to get a good shot, today he was moderately cooperative.

We saw most of the usual suspects plus

two Great Horned Owl chicks
Goslings
a Ruddy Duck
and a shore bird that I cannot remember the name of.

Yesterday was a 16 hour work day and today I had off. Tomorrow is a regular work day, I think. We shall see. It is now 10 pm and I should be in bed, but I wanted to share.
