Meadow

Barn Owls could be seen every day, early on a morning or round about dusk hunting for food over the meadows. I would see regularly 2 or 3 as I walked down the road but after the coldest Winter here in 100 years, I am told that 90% of the Owls in Yorkshire have perished and I see them no more. It will take 10 to 15 years for the population to recover and the few that are left are the founders of the next generation. I have not seen one at all this year!!!!!
