Forbidden City

Most of today was spent at the Forbidden City. It is a vast area although many of the smaller halls are alike. I forgot to refresh my wallet so I have no idea what half of the things are/were as I couldn't afford the audio guide, but it was none-the-less very impressive.

This picture is in the eaves of the gateway to one of the outer halls. Not only are the beams ornately painted, but there are some pictures too.
