Gull over waves

A quiet day. A bit of work in the morning, lunchtime TV, and a trip out to Portmarnock in the afternoon for a bit of a bracing walk. The tide was a bit far out, but worth getting feet wet for a close-up view of the waves.

I seem to have got it wrong about The Event on TV. It seemed really promising at the beginning, but it's lost the run of itself in recent episodes, and I guess its new midnight slot makes it clear that it isn't going down well with audiences. Still, I'm determined to stick with it, and actually set the alarm to make sure I wouldn't miss it. It wasn't worth the effort.
