Saxon Warrior

This sculpture is situated in a village close by which I travel through on my way to the train station.

It depicts a Saxon warrior and it was created from an old tree stump by a chainsaw artist called Thomas Cragg, the level of detail is fantastic and the warrior is accompanied by equally fantastic Saxon woman and also a third tree stump which is hopefully going to become a Saxon child.

I haven't really managed to do the statues justice so I may have to return to get some better blips!
