The race was on tonight for my second 'First to Find' of the week on my seventh consecutive caching day. A new Geocache appeared at Watermead last night, so as soon as I finished work I headed up there with Dawn. The multi-cache involved a walk round King Lear's lake and solving half a dozen clues to find the final cache. We completed the task easily & found the final hide but we're not sure if we were the official first finders. There were two comments in the log book that the cache was found by someone 'sheltering from the rain' and another 'looking for dinosaurs' (not as random as it sounds).

As we completed this cache quicker than we thought we would, we decided to look for another. As I'd not had the forethought to print off the details we had to browse our phones to find the co-ordinates. Whilst we waited for the pages to load the skies turned this threatening shade of grey. However, the rain didn't arrive and we found the second cache (and retrieved a travel bug) and bumped into another cacher on the way home.
