VARIABLE LANDING
Mrs Poo and I decided to go around the South Shore Traps today.
This is the High tide roosting area for about 2000 Oyster Catchers and there is now a flock of around 50-60 Juvenile Godwits. They will winter over until next year and wont make the return flight to Siberia.
Anyway here's the pick of the day a Variable oyster Catcher landing in amongst some South Island pied Oyster Catchers.
Condolances to Mollyblobs family. I was so shocked to see she died.
