Finally the day of the March Metal Day festival has arrived! Only a few short hours left until they appear on stage!!!

[UPDATE] What a disappointment! The concert was really poorly organized. The organizers failed to keep the place sufficiently clean and the food provided for such a long running concert was just a few sandwiches. Also all the bands started with a hour and a half delay which resulted in Nightwish coming on stage at 1:00 past midnight and then due to restrictions by the authorities couldn't play for more than an hour! Also since the concert took place in one of the hangars from the old Athens airport so the sound, despite sound checks performed by some of the bands (Edguy and Nightwish) was really awful.

Still it was great to see them in person and since I had heard their songs so often I was able to follow along and somewhat enjoy the experience. For sure I am seriously considering now to travel abroad to see them in a much better location, maybe Finland when they play in the summer :-)
