Today's the day .................... for the heavens to open

Another day of sunshine and showers here - although showers seems too gentle a word for the amount of rain that came down for a while.

I took this picture while stuck in a traffic queue, quite glad that I was inside a car. You can just about make out the town of Kendal behind this poor woman who was struggling to hold up her umbrella.

Then along came a man jogging. He was soaking wet with water dripping off him in all directions - but he seemed quite oblivious to it all .............
