After the rain

Another day that I spent mostly in front of the computer in order to get some designs done for two presentations on Monday. If only I could concentrate better and wouldn't get distracted to easily.

Took R to the train station at lunch time. He left for London and will be back tomorrow night. Ah well ... hopefully I will get to go along next time. It's been way too long since I been there and I really start to miss the energy!

This afternoon quite a thunderstorm swept over Dresden. It sounded much worse than what actually reached this part of town. I do like thunderstorms though especially when it's this warm outside. I like to open the window and literally feel the energy let loose by mother nature. This evening I went for a run in the Great Garden in Dresden again. The sun had fought it's way back through the cloud. Right after a storm the air is so clear and running through a forest feels very rejuvenating.

The other day Jackie commented on one of my blips saying that it's so green compared to my previous mostly urban blips. I guess this also shows how different Dresden is compared to Frankfurt but also how differently I perceive this city. It feels much more spacious and greener radiating a certain serenity that is not really felt in Frankfurt.
