His new squeeze

We don't get many buskers in Fishguard - well, in a town of 5000 low-income souls there's no living to be made by it - so I was pleased to see this genial character stationed outside the market today.

I asked him about his instrument, hoping to hear a tale of its rich history (à la Annie Proulx's Accordion Crimes) but he told me proudly it was the brand new digital version that had taken 20 years to develop.

I hope he made enough money to buy himself some chips.
