Death From Above

After yesterdays botched attempt at catching the DFA record label, I decided I'd take the shot somewhere without seagulls and old ladies - my dining room.

DFA is run by Tim Goldsworthy (of Unkle fame) and James Murphy (of LCD Soundsystem fame). A lot of the bands they've released leave me a bit cold, but their first ever release was this beast from the Rapture that in my mind kick started a whole new wave of dance influenced guitar bands, a trend which shows no sign of abating. As a bonus here's something from the mighty LCD Soundsytem, a band who've never put a foot wrong.
