Keeping Busy

I know -- it's not an exciting photo, but I'm very happy to get one of the cars back inside after 6 months exposure to the weather.

I got up at 1:15 AM and drove C to catch the 2:30 Airporter Shuttle for her flight to Raleigh for her sister's memorial service. When I came home I managed to sleep for a few hours. It took me a while to get moving after that, but once I started cleaning up the back yard and moving more stuff out of the garage, I lost track of time and didn't stop for lunch until 2 o'clock.

I needed an afternoon nap before working until dinnertime. Now the patio no longer looks like a dump.

I think I'll reward myself tomorrow by doing something more enjoyable, like assembling the new workbench -- assuming I have enough energy left after pickleball. It's not all beer and skittles being retired, though I have to admit there is an adequate amount of beer involved.
